| Abstract | The study by Scott et al is at odds with other published studies. Their design of a mixed group of relatively well or acutely ill bipolar patients who may or may not be on medication leads to difficulties in interpreting the results. Important clinical decisions should not be based on a post hoc analysis with a retrospective variable. |
