| Abstract | Sargasum natan is a recognized as a bio indicador of heavy metals contamination, it is used here to make some preliminar studies about the possible contamination by heavy metals in the marine ecosystem of the south coast of Guanacabibes Peninsula. Samples were dried and digested by two ways; an acid digestion and the other one using two cycles of acid mineralisation in ultrasonic digestor. The leves of heavy metals (Cd, Cu, Zn, Pb, As, Cr, Fe and V) present in this sample were quantified in order to evaluate them prelyminarely in the sea. The final determination of this metals concentration was done in ICP. The total or superfitial retained leves will be able to quantified depending os the degestion method. |
