Percepción de las madres de niños con obesidad sobre los hábitos alimenticios y sus responsabilidades en la alimentación de los hijos

Abstract	Este trabajo tiene por objetivo, analizar las percepciones, habitos alimenticios y responsabilidades sobre la alimentacion de los ninos, a traves de los relatos de las madres de ocho ninos en edad escolar que presentan obesidad, lo cual podria generar propuestas de intervencion sobre estilos de vida saludable. Se encontro que desde la percepcion de las mujeres entrevistadas, la madre como sujeto de poder al interior del hogar, es quien toma las principales decisiones de que y como comer. Subyacente de los discursos, aparecen tambien recursos simbolicos sobre los alimentos que se consideran sanos, saludables o imaginarios que han sido transmitidos a partir de una socializacion donde la normalizacion de lo correcto e incorrecto en la alimentacion, se construye socialmente a partir de la imagen corporal. Abstract The purpose of the study was analyze the nutritional perceptions, habits and responsibilities on the children feeding practices, through the stories of the mothers of eight children in school age who present obesity, which could generate intervention proposals on healthful life styles. It was found that under perception of the women interviewed, the mother as authority to inside home is who takes the main decisions about what and how to eat. Underlying of the speeches, appears symbolic resources on the foods that are considered healthy, healthful or imaginary, which have been transmitted from a socialization where the normalization about the correct or the incorrect thing in the feeding, it is constructed socially from the body image.
