| Abstract | In this research, a modified electrode has been produced by mixing of graphite and multiwall carbon nanotube (MWCNTCPE). This modified electrode has a very good activity toward the cefixime electrooxidation in a phosphate buffer solution (pH=5). Under optimal experimental conditions, the peak current response increased linearly with cefixime concentration over the range of 3-12×10μM. The detection limit (3δ) of the method was 2.5μM. Therefore, this modified electrode was a simple, rapid and effective electrode to determine cefixime in pharmaceutical preparations. |
