| Abstract | This paper presents the properties of graphic programming environment LabView and its use for monitoring of the production process in a coal mine. The need to analyse data from the production process and the meaning of data in decision suport system was emphasized. The development of an exemplary application created in LabView was discussed and an algorithm for events detection which is connected with improper use of machinery.
