| Abstract | espanolEn la literatura especializada se subraya la importancia de la creatividad en el alumnado de altas capacidades y con frecuencia se determina como un criterio basico para el diagnostico de la superdotacion. Sin, embargo, a pesar de esta aparente unanimidad a la hora de considerar la creatividad como un elemento clave dentro de la educacion de este tipo de estudiantes, existen numerosas limitaciones que rodean el trabajo en este campo: desde una incompleta comprension del termino “creatividad”; pasando por las frecuentes dificultades para poder evaluarla de forma fiable; hasta la que se esta convirtiendo en la mayor dificultad saber cual es la manera correcta de intervenir para cubrir y desarrollar esta capacidad dentro de la escuela. La creatividad puede y debe ser desarrollada a traves del proceso educativo para poder favorecer las potencialidades individuales de las personas con altas capacidades. Educar en la creatividad es una prioridad de la ensenanza dirigida a los estudiantes superdotados que les permitira prepararse mejor para el cambio, ser mas flexibles, con mayor iniciativa y autoconfianza, mas capaces de afrontar los obstaculos y, sobretodo, mas habiles en el uso de su capacidad de innovacion. EnglishIn the literature emphasizes the importance of creativity in students of high ability and is often determined as a basic criterion for the diagnosis of giftedness. Sin, however, despite this apparent unanimity in considering creativity as a key element in the education of such students, there are many constraints surrounding the work in this field: since an incomplete understanding of the term “creativity “going through the frequent difficulties to reliably assess, until the which is becoming the greatest difficulty, to know the right way to intervene to meet and develop this capacity within the school. Creativity can and should be developed through the educational process to encourage individual potential of people with high ability. Educating for creativity is a priority of education aimed at gifted students allowing them to better prepare for change, be more flexible, have more initiative and self-confidence, more capable of addressing the barriers and, above all, more skillful in using their innovative capacity |
