| Abstract | The hypertension has become very common in the brazilian population. The Ministry of health in 2014 reported that there are about 57,600,000 of hypertension, affecting 35% of the population of 40 years ago, but that number is growing, and your appearance is increasingly early, it is estimated that about 4% of children and adolescents are also carriers. The rate of morbidity and mortality caused by high blood pressure is very high, so it is considered a serious problem of public health. The main importance of the identification and control of hypertension lies in the reduction of its complications, such as: cerebrovascular disease, coronary artery disease, heart failure, chronic kidney disease and peripheral artery disease. This study has as objective the implementation of educational intervention strategies of prevention, focused on patients with Hypertension, belong to the Basic Health Unit of the Parish District, in the municipality of Peaks/Piauí. To this end, we opted for the observational method, and intentional search in charts. It is hoped with this research: raise the informational level of patients on hypertension; get yourself to incorporate patients in the community walk the neighborhood, improve adherence to medical treatment and/or non-pharmacologic pharmacologic, raise the level of knowledge of the larger number of patients, about your disease (risk factors, symptoms, complications and treatment); settling all questions of patients; also, make sure to purchase new healthy habits; Ensure nutritional guidance on healthy eating to all patients. |
