| Abstract | The need foran omnidirectional antenna is critical to converage areas not reachable by the access point antennas. As the solution is to design an antenna mounted on the access point that is expected to raise the level of the reception signal received by the access point. The purpose of this research is to design an antenna that will be used as a transmitting antenna can level up the receiver. Designed antenna is stacked turnstile antenna which has again of 3 dB from previous studies. At the turnstile antenna using a power divider to raise the antenna gain of 1.5 dB. Power divider is used Wilkinson power divider with a vertical stack. Stack distance used is 0.6 λ. From the results of the implementation of the Antenna Laboratory of the Polytechnic of Malang, stacked turnstile antenna produces vertical polarization and omnidirectional radiation pattern. Value of the measured return lossis -13.8 dB at a frequency of 2,384 MHz. Additionally stacked turnstile antenna has a value of 4.83 dBi gain. VSWR values were measured at a frequency of 2,384 GHz is 1,091 and has a 425 MHz bandwidths frequencies ranging from 2275 to 2700 MHz. Level of signal reception at the access point TP-Link TL Type WA5110 Ghigher than 4 dbm antenna access point, while stacked turnstile antenna as a transmitting antenna at a maximum distance of 100 mto get the signal reception is better than-84 dB antenna access point signal reception -89 dB. |
