| Abstract | Conclusions1.The effect of Li2O and K2O additives on the physicochemical and catalytic properties of aluminum-platinum catalysts was studied in the case of the conversion of normal paraffins.2.The concentration of active sites of the catalysts determined by an ESR method correlates with the conversions proceeding by an acid-base mechanism.3.The introduction of alkali additives, by decreasing the catalyst acidity and significantly inhibiting isomerization and hydrocracking, decreases the aromatizing capacity of the aluminum-platinum catalyst, thereby altering the ratio of the dehydrogenation rates of paraffins and olefins. |
