| Abstract | — Whereas the proliferation of reflexive fiction in the 1960s and 1970s was the manifestation of the narcissistic withdrawal generated by a loss of trust in the possibility of creating fiction, this article offers to explore the creative resourcefulness of the new forms of reflexive fiction which emerged the 1990s. The article deals with three pieces that, after years of increasing abstraction and dehumanization, offer new narrative strategies to reconstruct a dialogue with the reader while calling back the notions of presence and humanity in contemporary fiction. |
