| Abstract | The present study defined three departments of a shipbuilding and offshore company: Planning and Control of Production, Supplies and Warehousing in order to identify how the relationship between the processes involving these three departments works and propose action plans with improvements to the activities already carried out. Initially a semi-structured interview with two representatives of each sector was applied information was collected regarding the profiles of the respective employees and the main activities performed by the sectors. From the data obtained analysis were generated and a main process of each mapped sector with description and flow of the process. With the mapping carried out activities were raised that cause the so-called production wastes these wastes have had their causes raised and were placed in the Ishikawa Diagram with the causes raised hears a prioritization process using the GUTFI Matrix and later the Pareto Diagram, which resulted in causes to be prioritized. Action plans were developed using the 5W2H methodology for each of the prioritized causes. It can be concluded that the study identified the need for greater alignment among sectors the process needs to be good not only for those who perform but also for those impacted by the process. All of the proposed actions have converged to improve information exchange between processes especially with regard to suppliers and internal customers. |
