| Abstract | The main objective of the present work is focusing on the evolution of public health expenditure during the time of the economic crisis. The first part is a chronological description of the Spanish Health System ́s story, then it focuses on descriptive analysis of the current national health system. The second part is a description of the fiscal policy and its relationship with health and Welfare State, developing a brief overview about economic crisis ́ causes and the impact on State Budget and Public Health Expenditure. Finally, it has been done a study about evolution of public expenditure by autonomous communities. |
