| Abstract | One of the worrying factors in agriculture is soil salinity. The objective of this study was to evaluate the chemical characteristics of soils irrigated with saline water in noni cultivation with different substrates. Therefore an experiment was conducted in the agricultural greenhouse IFCE Campus Sobral, from September 2013 to June 2014 conducted a randomized block in factorial 5x4, with five levels of ECw = (0.3, 1.5, 3 0; 4.5 and 6.0 dS m-1), and four substrates sand (control); sand + organic compound; sand + manure cattle and sand +goat manure in the proportion of(1: 1). The noni seedlings were irrigated daily with the corresponding saline every desired ECw. After 180 DAS soils were collected and identified, then taken to the Laboratory for Soil and Water Irrigation IFCECampus Sobral for parameters assessment: pH; EC; Ca + 2; Na +; K + and Mg + 2. Given the results found it is concluded that the use saline of water on soil irrigation promotes the increase in its pH and the levels of Na + and decrease in Ca +, Mg + 2 and K +, while the organic matter helps raise Mg + 2 and K +. |
