| Abstract | Common depth points stack technique is usually used to improve signal-to-noise ratio in reflection wave seismic exploration. Surface wave interference can be elminated by increasing offset in seismic data acquisition, however which generally results in blind zone near surface. Data with high signal-to-noise ratio will be acquired if the depth of the target strata is from several hundred to one thousand meters. But in this case, the offset will get up to 100m, and there will be blind zone 150m underground. Depth of the interested strata related to uranium ore-forming varies from decades to hundreds of meters in Erlian Basin. So it is very difficult to acquire reflection signal with high signal-to-noise ratio. Mechanics parameters vary from rock to rock, which makes it possible to delineate strata located 150m underground using other signals in seismic records. |
