| Abstract | espanolTras el descubrimiento de los territorios americanos, surge la polemica de los justos titulos y la situacion juridica de los indigenas y se construye un razonamiento ideologico que transformara las Indias en un laboratorio donde se experimenten las mejores maneras de evangelizar a los naturales. Los primeros cronistas intentaran una busqueda entre las fuentes historicas sagradas y profanas con el fin de vindicar la empresa americana. Sus obras, escritas mayoritariamente por religiosos del clero regular proyectan su formacion, tomista o racionalista y con distintas mentalidades inciden en el campo antropologico, etnologico, politico, religioso y juridico, intentando justificar algunos, el origen de los indios en la Sagrada Escritura. El presente trabajo analiza los aspectos de como vieron los cronistas las creencias idolatricas de los indigenas y su condicion de hombres libres o en estado de semi-esclavitud, desde su formacion teologica y juridica recibida en los centros de ensenanza castellanos. EnglishAfter the discovery of the American territories, the controversy of the just titles and the juridical situation of the indigenous people arises and an ideological reasoning is constructed that will transform the Indies into a laboratory where the best ways of evangelizing the natives are experienced. The first chroniclers will try to search between the historical sources sacred and profane with the purpose of vindicating the American company. His works, written mostly by religious of the regular clergy project and their training, Thomist or rationalist and with different mentalities affect the anthropological, ethnological, political, religious and legal, trying to justify some, the origin of the Indians in the Sacred Scripture. The present work analyzes the aspects of how the chroniclers saw the idolatry beliefs of the natives and their condition of freemen in a state of semi-slavery from their theological and juridical foundations received in the Castilian educational centers. |
