| Abstract | Refractory titanium nitride (TiN) was proposed as unit component for metamaterial perfect absorber in visible frequencies. Combining both the intrinsic loss of the TiN material in short wavelength ( 500 nm), the metamaterial perfect absorber based TiN can be a broadband perfect absorber in whole visible region. The structure is directly applicable to all kinds of opaque substrates without metallic bottom. |
