Abstract	Resumo: O presente estudo discute a robotica educacional como meio de trazer a escola de ensino fundamental para o contexto do desenvolvimento cientifico e tecnologico. Analisa a atividade tecnica como atividade simbolica e a criatividade a partir do campo de possibilidades da modelagem e programacao de prototipos no contexto do Projeto UCA. Os resultados demonstraram que a construcao a partir de modelos limitou-se a simples busca por analogia, enquanto que a conduta exploratoria favoreceu a abertura de novos possiveis e a manifestacao da criatividade. Abstract: This text discusses educational robotics as a way of bringing the Fundamental level of schooling into the context of science and technological development. It analyzes the technical activity as a symbolic activity and the creativity from a field of possibilities of modeling and programming of prototypes at the UCA (OLPC) Project. The results show that the building from models just resulted in analogy, whereas, the exploratory conduct favored the opening of new possibilities and the manifestation of creativity.
