| Abstract | Referring in the first place to the loci theory for memorizing as Marco Tulio Ciceron found and described it we consider that there are still some very interesting aspects in the mentioned theory. On the other hand; there are very special aspects considering the unity of space and time in Aztec cosmogony and in general; among prehispanic cultures of America which are also of lasting value to our considerations. The theory of the influence of space on memory; and the possibility of using it in connection with language learning is an entirely new approach to memory and language acquisition and its application for such learning. Finally there is a brief mention of the abstract aspect of memory as it lies within the mental space; and how this can be put to conscientious learning in the classroom. |
