Abstract	RESUMEN: En este articulo hemos realizado un analisis del simbolo de la mano en el arte paleolitico. Hemos tratado de adentrarnos en su iconologia estudiando este signo en otras culturas. La reiterada aparicion de su funcion astral en diversas sociedades ha abierto la posibilidad de considerarlo su significado original. ABSTRACT: This paper tries to make an analysis of hand symbol in Palaeolithic art. Our aim has been to get close to its iconology studying this sign in other cultures. The reiterative apparition of an astral function in different societies has made possible to consider it as its archaic meaning.
