| Abstract | Previously healthy male child four years old, with a history of 12 hour abdominal pain. He had normal laboratory exams. We made the diagnosis of gallbladder hydrops by means of plain abdominal radiology, abdominal ultrasound and computed axial tomography. This diagnosis was corroborated and resolved by laparoscopic cholecystectomy. The clinical evolution was satisfactory. |
