| Abstract | RESUME: Les parents d’enfants gravement malades rencontrent des difficultes dans plusieurs spheres de leur vie, l’une d’entre elles etant la sphere professionnelle. Ils doivent apprendre a concilier leurs responsabilites familiales, les responsabilites professionnelles et les soins octroyes a l’enfant. Ce memoire a comme but de recherche de comprendre comment les parents d’enfants gravement malades vivent la conciliation du travail et de la famille. Pour realiser cette recherche, des entretiens semi-diriges ont ete menes aupres de quatre participantes travaillant dans des milieux de travail et secteurs tous differents. Les participantes expriment que les pratiques de gestion qui repondent le mieux a leurs besoins consistent a un amenagement du temps de travail comme la flexibilite de l’horaire et le travail a temps partiel et un amenagement du lieu de travail tel que le teletravail. A cela s’ajoute la possibilite de prendre des conges avec ou sans solde et des mesures de soutien organisationnel : le programme d’aide aux employes et des mesures de soutien non organisationnelles : l’aide financiere aux familles pour parents d’enfants handicapes. -- Mot(s) cle(s) en francais : conflit travail-famille, conciliation travail-famille, enfants gravement malades, parents travailleurs, mesures de conciliation travail-famille. -- ABSTRACT: Parents of seriously ill children encounter difficulties in several spheres of their lives, the professional sphere is one of them. They need to learn how to join together their family responsibilities, work responsibilities and the cares for the child. The aim of this thesis is to understand how the parents of seriously ill children live with the reconciliation of work and family. To conduct this research, semi-directed interviews were conducted with four participants working in various environments and sectors. The view participants expressed are reliate to management practices best suited to their needs consist of working time arrangements such as flexibility of work schedules and part-time work and workplace arrangements such as teleworking.
