For such purpose, the theoretical perspective adopted is the contemporary notion of fantastic, particularly that one endorsed by Cortazar (2008), Calvino (2004) and Roas (2011, 2014), among other scholars of the genre, that highlight the transgressive dimension of reality beyond the textual, especially the notion that the fantastic takes place in the interlacement between the natural and the supernatural, the strange and the familiar, the possible and the impossible.
