| Abstract | We report the discovery of cool, prominence-like material embedded in the hot corona of the rapidly rotating dMe are/spot variable, HK Aqr. Using these observations we demonstrate that, unlike the case of the rapidly rotating K dwarf, AB Dor, these features form well below the co-rotation radius. Rather they have dimensions between 3{20 times those of the very largest solar prominences. At least seven clouds were detected during each stellar rotation and they have a lifetime of greater than the three nights spanned by our data. |
