| Abstract | This study aims: 1. describe the teacher's efforts in strengthening the character of the discipline of learning in accounting economics subjects at Sukoharjo High School 2. 2. factors that influence students in the discipline of learning. This type of research is qualitative research. The research design used was an ethnographic approach. Data collection techniques using interviews, passive participation observation and documentation. The validity of the data is done by source triangulation and method triangulation. The data analysis technique uses an interactive model with data reduction steps, data presentation and data verification / conclusion drawing. The results showed that, (1) efforts to strengthen learning discipline conducted by accounting economics teacher class XI IPS at SMAN 2 Sukoharjo included the implementation of school discipline, checking student records, exemplary, classroom management which included giving questions and reprimands, giving pretest or posttest , the provision of material that is associated with reality conditions or the giving of cases is then solved by students, making learning contracts / class rules, giving positive reinforcement both verbally and non-verbally. (2) factors that influence the learning discipline of students of class XI IPS at SMAN 2 Sukoharjo include the lack of students' level of self-awareness of learning responsibilities, the influence of friends and factors in school environment conditions |
