Abstract	Law 1676 of 2013 reformed the secured transactions regulatory framework in Colombia, whose primordial purpose was to promote credit access amid Colombian enterprises. The structural bases of the aforementioned reform were amongst others, the creation and versatility of the concept of secured transaction, the provision of secured transactions, third-party effectiveness, enforcement mechanisms and the role of collateral guarantees in insolvency proceedings. In this paper, we address two important issues regarding the reform; i) enforcement (ii) priority order amongst secured transactions.
