| Abstract | This paper presents, in an introductory way, a larger research that addresses the role of production design in the construction of the branding of contemporary audiovisual productions. The research uses the concepts of imaginary and imagery to understand how these creative practices update, in the contemporary period, the sense of time of the Middle Ages.
