Abstract	Introduction and aim: In this paper are presented shear strength tests re sults of the overlapping adhesive-bonded joint and the possibility of using p eumatic ball peening to strengthening adhesive joints for samples made from titanium alloy Ti 6Al4V. Material and methods: Ti6Al4V titanium alloy, adhesive joints lap, epoxy adhesive, shear strength tests Results: Comparison of the shear strength test results of ad hesive-bonded joints made of Ti6Al4V titanium alloy after pneumatic ball peening and det ermination and usability of this method for strengthening adhesive-bonded joints. Conclusions: Pneumatic ball peening can be used as a method of s trengthening adhesive-bonded joints for titanium alloy Ti6Al4V. With the increas e in processing time occurs proportional shear strength increase of analyzed samples.
