| Abstract | This text aims at interpreting the ways of appearing of the stranger in the work of Hannah Arendt. Our hypothesis is that the stranger , firstly, is the condition of the newcomers; and then as a frightening symbol when in the condition of stateless and refugees. Accordingly, our text first examines newcomers as strangers insofar as they are born as a new beginning and initiator in a world that already preexists human relationships. They are welcomed and are therefore familiar with the world in order to feel recognized and accepted in it, so that they can act and speak in the presence of others, revealing themselves in their uniqueness. And, finally, stateless people and refugees are also strangers , but in the sense of a frightening symbol , since, by losing their ties with the human world, they are no longer welcome . Therefore, they find themselves at the limits of human artifice, deprived of acting and speaking. O presente texto tem por objetivo interpretar os modos de aparecer do estranho na obra de Hannah Arendt. A hipotese e de que o estranho traduz a condicao propria dos recem-chegados; e, ao passo, que ele e um simbolo do assustador , quando na condicao de apatrida e/ou refugiado. Assim, examinamos, primeiramente, os recem-chegados enquanto estranhos a medida que eles nascem como um novo inicio e iniciador em um mundo no qual ja preexistem relacoes humanas. A eles sao dadas as boas - vindas e, familiarizados com o mundo, sentindo-se reconhecidos e aceitos nele, portanto, podem agir e falar na presenca de outros, revelando a sua singularidade. E, por fim, os apatridas e refugiados tambem seriam estranhos , mas no sentido de um simbolo do assustador , uma vez que, ao perderem os vinculos com o mundo humano, deixam de ser bem - vindos . Assim, encontram-se nos limites do artificio humano, privados de agir e falar. |
