| Abstract | The access control to resources is bound up with the authentication and the mthorizatioa The methods wed up till now are quite static and maintain the infornution centralized with some importaut scnlsbility problems In addition, they do not take advantage of public key cryptography for the authorization. la order to overcome these disadvantages the ITUT X509 Recommendation defines P framework for nuthentication ( P a , Public Key Infrprtructure, based on identity certificates) pad authorization (PMI, Privilege Management InfrPrtrtlcture, based on attribute certilicate). Tbh paper presents an implementation of an nuthorimtion system for web based applications based on the ITU-T X509 Recommendation.
