| Abstract | O presente trabalho tem como objetivo demonstrar a aplicacao da filosofia Kaizen no processo de inspecao no controle de qualidade em uma empresa de usinagem, buscando atraves da implantacao do projeto, uma reducao do alto indice de nao conformidade externa (quando identificado pelo cliente final). O estudo se justifica devido a importância do tema na atualidade para as organizacoes que buscam processos mais eficientes. O inicio do trabalho foi realizado visando coletar maiores informacoes referente as atividades do processo de inspecao anterior, dentro do controle de qualidade no periodo do 1° semestre de 2014, onde foi possivel observar de imediato que no cenario anterior nao havia um fluxo de trabalho continuo, as atividades dos inspetores eram realizadas de forma subjetivas, sem metodo de trabalho padronizado e o fluxo de informacao nao era claro e de facil acesso. Para analise de cada problema identificado, utilizaram-se as ferramentas da qualidade (Pareto e Ishikawa), sendo que apos a identificacao dos problemas e suas respectivas causas, foram aplicadas as acoes para as principais anomalias, acoes essas que obtiveram uma abrangencia aos demais problemas dentro do processo de inspecao. Com a aplicacao das melhorias propostas dentro do Kaizen , foi possivel obter como resultado no 2° semestre de 2014 uma reducao de 92% das nao conformidades em relacao ao 1° semestre de 2014. ABSTRACT This paper aims to demonstrate the application of Kaizen philosophy in the process of inspection in quality control in a machining company, seeking through the implementation of the project a reduction of the high index of external nonconformity (when identified by the final customer). The study is justified due to its current theme importance for the organizations that look for more efficient processes. It was collected information regarding the activities of the previous inspection process, within the quality control during the first semester of 2014. It was observed, at once, that in the previous scenario there was no continuous workflow. Insperctor activities were carried out in a subjective manner, with no standardized working method and the flow of information was not clear and showed difficult access. In order to analyze each identified problem it was used Pareto and Ishikawa quality tools and after the identification of the problems and their respective causes, actions for the main anomalies were applied which reached comprehensiveness to the other problems within the inspection process. Using the proposed improvements within Kaizen, it was possible to obtain 92% reduction of non-conformities in the second semester of 2014 compared to the first one. Keywords: .
