| Abstract | The use of domestic effluents treated in irrigation emerges as an alternative to agriculture in semi-arid regions; however, the use of these types of water can cause alterations in soil chemical characteristics, altering their fertility. In this way, aiming at the productive sustainability is justified the monitoring of the chemical attributes of the soil. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of the application of domestic sewage treated by different processes on the water-soluble attributes of the soil cultivated with sunflower. The treatments were formed by three factors: four types of water (A1 treated sewage by UASB reactor, A2 sewage treated by decant decanting and anaerobic filtration, A3 treated sewage by anaerobic filtration, and A4 supply water control ); two irrigation depths (L1 equal to crop evapotranspiration and L2 20% higher than crop evapotranspiration) and three soil layers (0 0.2, 0.2 0.4 and 0.4 0.6 m). The experimental design was a randomized block design with four replications, considering the soil layers arranged in subdivide plots. Chemical attributes was evaluate at 77 and 98 days after sowing. The use of effluents obtained from the UASB reactor (A1) and decant digester and filtration (A2) provided lower concentrations of Na in the soluble extract at 77 DAS. The use of domestic effluents provided an increase in the soil salts contents. The 0-0.20 m layer presented elevation in the soluble Ca, Mg contents, also reflecting in the ECs. |
