| Abstract | We have measured the temperature dependencies of the relative elongation and the thermal diffusivity of the Ni51.4Mn26.4Ga21.7 alloy in the temperature range from 300 to 700 K. The relative elongation (CTE) shows the anomalous behavior in the temperature range from 420 to 500 K. The different behavior of the relative elongation and the coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) was found during the heating and cooling in the thermal cycle. The large increase of the thermal diffusivity was found at about 450 K. |
