| Abstract | The objective of this paper is to analyze the relationship between the media and major religions, practiced in Spain and, in particular, Islam. As a secondary objective, is to open new lines of research and highlight the importance of the matter. The information is socialization service. Therefore, we must respect the political, ideological, social and cultural differences. In the case of the cultural environment, religion is one of the variables to consider in the practice of correct information, avoiding cliches and not respectful actions towards some of its faithful followers. If you want to be objective, you have to be respectful. Knowing the religions practiced in the country is a better fit in the information processing. The media are transmitters of values and these, in turn, socialize the audience. |
