| Abstract | Die yields are decreasing. The structure of multi-core SIMT architectures makes them suitable for applying redundancy at multiple levels of granularity, e.g., at the coreand lanelevel. We observe that applications prefer SIMT architectures with different kinds of sparing; redundancy can reduce cost by over 20% in some applications. |
