| Abstract | Behaviors of the irrigants vis-a-vis changes of access to water in the irrigated perimeters of the plain of Kairouan. With a mobilization of all the resources available, the tunisian state can control balance between water resource and uses from the water table of Kairouan only by controlling the growth of the water demand. This control passes by the correct operation of the collective irrigated perimeters. A first study is undertaken on the public perimeters irrigated to examine their answers to a rise of tariffings. Another analysis is presented on a perimeter with collective management; it is based on the realization of a field water balance. An analysis of real operation as well as simulations of restoration of the network or change of rules of distribution makes it possible to order the importance of the factors of dysfunction. This analysis is applied to an irrigated perimeter of the area of Kairouan. It shows that the current rule of distribution generates an ineffective management similar to that produced by a faulty network operation. |
