| Abstract | The present article aims to investigate which are teachers' competences for the use of technologies, that are essential in the initial phase of literacy as well as to verify how such competences can contribute to the promotion of students' learning, both public school (municipal and state) also private school. The methodology adopted was a case study and the data were collected through an online questionnaire survey applied to teachers from the 1st to 3rd year of Elementary School. Replies were expected from teachers of both public schools, as well from the private school, however, there was no participation of teachers from the municipal one. The results show that the subjects of this research believe that the mastery of technological resources and the readiness to build a necessary knowledge to develop ICT, enriching practices are relevant and essential competences for the construction of knowledge about reading and writing during the process of literacy, both as in the context of a state school as in the context of a private school. |
