| Abstract | Computers commonly use binary number system for storing the data. But in financial, commercial and internet applications usually data is stored in BCD because of its higher level of accuracy than binary number system. Though it cannot be as efficient as binary floating point in many aspects, representing in BCD leads to simplification and ease of computation.
