| Abstract | The Information Science (IC) has an interdisciplinary character, in turn, is directly related to Information Technology. Included in the CI domain are studies related to Information Architecture, Information Findability and others, which aim to help the structuring of digital environments with a focus on organization, retrieval and access to information. Following the worldwide consensus that information from public bodies should be facilitated and transparent. This research is characterized as exploratory and analytical in which it investigates the institutional repository of the FiocruzARCA through a checklist, verifying the queries of Information Findability. In this research it was possible to notice that, before the analyzed system, it can be affirmed that the Information Architecture applied in the creation of web sites / repositories, better conducts the user to the desired information and makes access to them more effective and precise. |
