| Abstract | The main objective of this work, "PROGRAM OF PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY AND SOCIAL (PRPS) HOW FORM OF INTERVENTION IN ADOLESCENTS: an example through the Baseball youth at risk of social exclusion" ", is the exhibition of the implementation of a programme with a collective socio consisting of pre-teens and adolescents. The program was conducted during the months of November and December, 2013, in the city of Palencia. It had as name "Playing Baseball with responsibility". The reason for this name is that the program designed for the socioeducational intervention was an adaptation of an existing program, the program of Personal responsibility and Social (PRPS) of Don Hellison, which in English translates into Teaching staff and Social responsibility Model (TPSR). This program was designed to intervene with adolescents in situation or risk of social exclusion through the practice of sport and physical activity. The choice of this sport, baseball, is due to the chosen Group, participated in a program of youth promotion which had as objectives the prevention and the provision of a leisure and free time alternative and healthy. At the time in which it was decided to carry out the program of responsibility, the Group participated in a new activity proposed by the Center for Urban, place where it develops the program of youth Urban revitalization, which consisted of learning to play a new sport, Baseball. Adaptation of the PRP made was based on the one already made by Amparo Escartí, Carmina Pascual and Diana Marin Suelves, components of a multidisciplinary group of professionals who carried out numerous implementations of the TPSR in Spain. This program (PRP) has as its main objective that participating adolescents develop both personal and social responsibility to achieve a positive development and improve their situation and social, educational and cultural context. |
