| Abstract | The objective this research is knowing the importance of the governmental actions established in the presence of agricultural sinisters. Specifically it analyzed the presence of frosts in the maize in the municipality of Tlachichuca, Puebla in 2011. Data was gathered with a survey to 76 producers affected. The research showed that is almost nonexistent the agricultural insurance and in the presence of frosts were activated the program called Componente de Atencion a Desastres Naturales (Care Component to Natural Disasters, CADENA). The support provided for this program did not recognize the full involvement in the lands of producers covering almost a third of production their cost per hectare. |
