| Abstract | We consider in this paper the problem of carrier frequency of fset estimation of Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) coded s ystems. We propose a new technique of blind frequency offset estimat ion based on the calculation and minimization of a function o f the Log-Likelihood Ratios (LLR) of the syndrome elements obtained according to the parity check matrix of the code. This function has a globa l minimum at a frequency offset estimation error equal to zero and many loc al minima elsewhere. Therefore, the minimization procedur is done by applying the iterative Simulated Annealing algorithm. Simulation r esults show that the proposed technique clearly outperform s a classical blind frequency offset estimation method. |
