| Abstract | Epoxy resins are one of the most important structural adhesives due to their good adhesive properties and high thermal and chemical strength. These adhesives show good wettability on carbon fibre/epoxy laminates due to the high compatibility with epoxy matrix. For this reason, they are being actually investigated in order to replace the mechanical joints. The adhesive joint of epoxy laminates is especially interesting for automotive and aerospace industry, which need large and complex structures combined with a low weight. |
