| Abstract | The theory is developed for charge transfer between ions in the strong Coulomb repulsive field at the adiabatic region of velocities of the relative motion, v ≤ 1 a.u. = 2.19⋅10 cm/s. The dynamic part of the problem is solved on the basis of the decay model. The cross sections for the reaction are calculated for the following values of the ionic charges, Z = 80, 85, 90 and q = 2 – 15.
