| Abstract | O presente estudo teve como objetivo verificar a principal motivacao para a pratica do futsal em uma escola da cidade de Porto Alegre. Participaram do estudo 100 praticantes de futsal do sexo masculino, com idade entre 7 a 13 anos que fazem parte de duas sedes desta escola de futsal. Como instrumento de coleta de dados foi utilizado o Inventario de Motivacao para a Pratica Desportiva (IMPD), criado por Gaya e Cardoso (1998), composto por 19 itens subdivididos em 3 dimensoes: a) competencia desportiva (CD) b) amizade e lazer (AL) c) saude (S). Cada motivo possui tres niveis de resposta, ou seja, Muito Importante (MI) - 3, Pouco Importante (PI) – 2 e Nada Importante (NI) - 1. As coletas foram realizadas apos autorizacao da escola, alunos e pais. O software utilizado nas analises foi o SPSS V.20. Ao analisar as dimensoes de motivacao de todos os 100 participantes e possivel observar que nao houve variacao significativa na perspectiva estatistica nos motivos aos quais levam estas criancas e jovens a praticarem o futsal, porem foi constatado que quanto maior a idade menos relevante se faz o fator de Amizade e Lazer para a pratica do futsal. Os resultados do Teste t de Student revelaram que as medias dos participantes nas variaveis da motivacao nao foram significativamente diferentes entre si. Foi realizado o Coeficiente de correlacao de Pearson onde nao foram encontradas relacoes estatisticas (p<0,05) significativas entre idade, anos de experiencia e as 3 dimensoes estudadas (competencia desportiva; amizade/lazer e saude). ABSTRACT Motivational factors that influence the futsal practice: A study in a futsal school in Porto Alegre city This quantitative and descriptive study had the aim of verify the main motivation for the practice of indoor football in a school in the city of Porto Alegre. The study enrolled 100 male children that practices futsal, aged between 7 to 13 years old and who are part of two cedes this futsal school. As data collection instrument was used Motivation Inventory for Sports Practice (IMPD), created by Gaya and Cardoso (1998), composed of 19 objective questions divided into three dimensions: a) sportsmanship (CD) b) friendship and leisure (AL) c) health (S). Each reason has three levels of response, ie, Very Important (MI) - 3 Somewhat Important (PI) - 2 and Nothing Important (NI) - 1. Samples were collected after school authorization, students and their parents. The software used in the analysis was the SPSS V.20. By analyzing the dimensions of motivation of all 100 participants can be observed that there was no significant variation in statistical perspective the reasons which lead these children and young people to take futsal, but it was found that the higher the less relevant age becomes a factor Friendship and Leisure to practice futsal. The results of Student t test showed that the average of the participants in the variables of motivation were not significantly different. It was performed Pearson correlation coefficient which found no statistical relationship (p <0.05) significant between age, years of experience and 3 dimensions studied (sportsmanship, friendship / leisure and health). |
