| Abstract | The present invention discloses a Silver halide color photo graphic light-sensitive material which comprises a first Support having thereon at least one photographic light Sensitive layer comprising a light-sensitive Silver halide emulsion, a developing agent, a compound capable of form ing a dye upon coupling reaction with an oxidation product of the developing agent, a binder, and a mercaptoazole compound, and a color image forming method comprising imagewise exposing the above-described Silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material, Supplying water to the light-sensitive material or a processing material comprising a Second Support having thereon a base or a base precursor, in an amount ranging from /10 to the equivalent of an amount which is required for the maximum Swelling of the all coated layers of these materials, placing the light Sensitive material and the processing material face to face, and heating the materials at a temperature of 60 to 100 C. for a period of 5 to 60 seconds to form a color image. The present invention provides a light-Sensitive material and a color image forming method characterized by high Sensi tivity and an insignificant fogging level. |
