| Abstract | The post-seminal behavior of 29 woody species of the flora of the Guaiba Hydrographic Basin, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, was analysed at the Botanical Garden Seeds Laboratory of the Zoobotanical Foundation of Rio Grande do Sul. The seeds origined from different regions, covered by the Pro-Guaiba Program. Diagnosis and seedlings figures in three development stages are presented in addition to the period between seedling and emergence, as well as subsequent stages. The analysis of germination behavior and seedling morphology of these species would be able to support plant production, aiming at forest replacement, specially, those that are found endangeres, such as: Verbenoxylum reitzii (Mold.) Tronc., Margaritaria nobilis L.f., Ocotea odorifera (Vell.) Rohwer, and Aspidosperma riedelii Mull. Arg. |
