| Abstract | RR and SERR spectra of adsorbed complexes of 1,10 phenantroline with Fe(II) (viz., Fe(phen)3 +~) on silver from highly dilute solution (viz., 5 10 -dM) are presented. The first attempt to combine SERS and RRS in order to investigate the surface spectra of Fe(phen)~ +2 on an iron substrate is also reported. The results are encouraging with regard to possible application of SERS and RRS to studies of wet metallic corrosion, in situ. |
