| Abstract | This paper is proposed a cell-specific reference signals (RSs)-based residual frequency offset (RFO) estimation scheme for 3GPP long term evolution (LTE) downlink in timevarying channels. For the computational efficiency and alleviate the effects of noise, two consecutive OFDM symbols which have same subcarrier index of cell-specific RSs are used. An analytical closed-form expression of the mean square error (MSE) of the post-FFT based RFO synchronization scheme is presented in terms of time-variant fading channels. In this paper, our analysis is compared to simulation results for demonstrate. Simulations are carried out within the LTE frequency division duplex (FDD) downlink systems. |
