| Abstract | An analysis is performed of the formulas available in the literature to calculate the rarefied gas heat conductivity, and the dependencies are revealed of the coefficients of the glass pack thermal resistance against the heat transfer and their constituents on the pressure and the degree of the glass blackness in order to determine the necessary parameter values to meet the requirements of the 1991 ASTM International Standard. The possibility is noted of vacuum losses due to gas or fluid desorption from the internal surfaces of the glass pack, thus, causing a significant increase in the heat conductivity. |
