| Abstract | Modeling effect of shear angel to elasticity and surface energy in crack propagation phenomena has been done well. This research used the crack propagation model that is developed by Takaishi and Kimura. In this research, investigation effect of shear angel has been done to observe elasticity energy and surface energy. Besides that, behavior of crack propagation is observed. Adaptive Finite Element Method and Phase Field approach were used to observe those. In this modeling, shear angel was varied such as 2 , 3 , 4 , and 6 . Asumptions in the modeling are (1) material is homogen and isotropic, (2) there is not gravitational force, (3) displacement is zero at t = 0, and also (4) length of crack satisfied 1 / 5 . 0 / 1 / 5 . 0 / 0 1 2 2 1 2 2 1 1 : ) ( x x x x e e e e x z . The results of this research have ilustrated that there was effect of shear angel on changing elasticity and surface energy and than different of cracking behavior in the material.
